Background: Human immunodeficiency virus attacks CD4 cells primarily. Current count is a strong predictor of the immediate risk acquired immune deficiency syndrome or death. Antiretroviral therapy results in an improvement immunologic status, one feature which increase cell count.Objectives: To study effect on & WHO staging among people living with HIV/AIDS.Methodology: A retrospective cross-sectional descriptive was conducted using data available from centre attached to Teaching Hospital Karwar Institute Medical Sciences, Karwar.Conclusion: People Living HIV significantly associated their count.
